FSE, or full-site-editing is not a new concept, many page builders like Elementor have been offering this functionality for quite some time already. But having FSE, or full site editing capabilities right inside WordPress is something new, and something we’ve not experienced before.
Therefore, there is a lot of confusion about what FSE is, how it works, how will it be implemented, and whether you will use it.
Technically, some features of WordPress FSE are already released with WordPress 5.8, and the upcoming WordPress 5.9 will bring a lot of much awaited FSE functionality with it. In this video, I’ve tried to explain in the simplest of words, what FSE, or full site editing is in WordPress.
